About
JIM SCHROEDER
Returning to the classroom to study law was a difficult decision. For fifteen years as a college administrator, small business owner and ordained minister I enjoyed serving people. I realized during those years that the practice of law is touching more areas of everyday life. Great opportunities are available for lawyers who are committed to helping others negotiate the legal system.
The practice of law has certainly opened new opportunities to assist people who are facing crisis moments. I find it to be exciting to help my clients negotiate complicated issues and achieve a positive outcome.
I am at my best when listening, assessing real needs, helping to sort out the most beneficial course of action and advocating for my clients. Engaging in the practice of law has augmented my ability to do what I have always enjoyed doing and do best: serve.
Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. – Martin Luther King, Jr.
